They probably still have a black and whte Russian TV-set to go with. LOL
Happy Holidays !
How do you like Bucharest?
I always thought, from my short visits that it was a crowded city with rude cab drivers.
We, from Ardeal think they are too ” smecheri” in that part of the country…
Monica – Heheh, I believe you MAY be correct about that! Perhaps, then, they are watching Haiducii lui Sapte Cai tonight. Afterall, there is not yet a Miracle on Strada Eminescu…
As for Bucureşti, I won’t argue with your description. I have never been a fan of this city. I am giving it a go, see if my mind changes. I can say that the daily life here is a bit more ‘modern’ but only in the sense of being able to find a greater variety of products for sale. Which as much a commentary on the city as it is on my own perception of what constitutes modern. It’s not really modern in any other way. For the moment, I remain staunchly unimpressed with this place. But I’m trying. Perhaps I’ll change my mind. O sa vedem noi.
