Same for me, Ron. Romania ought to be one of the prettiest countries in all of eastern Europe, but this scourge continues two decades after communism because, apparently, 20-somethings just do not care enough.
I shouldn’t laugh at PSA comment, but if anyone was going to throw out Woodsy Owl, it’s definitely you. ;]
that’s so sad and frustrating.. i had a mountain trip this summer and we came across some foreign volunteers that picked up our trash. i felt so embarassed! i really love my country as it is, but the ignorance and indifference of it inhabitants is like a disease.

Sadly, this was one of the first things I noticed about Romania.
Smoky the Bear, and the Crying Indian from that old psa really need to hang out there for a while…
