That’s great. Looks like after all, your pursuit of happiness from a saormanist point of view ended up quite ok.

Sadly I don’t speak any other languages to even know what that means. But I’ll chalk that up to being an ignorant americano

Laura - Thanks. Indeed, some dramatic conclusions are reached during the journey. Some readers will even recognize themselves being described in the story. You could be one of them!
xamox - But you know how it is, dawg! That cover headline roughly translates to: “Want to laugh your ass off? Buy this magazine, because Romer!can’s incredible story is downright impressive.”

Lol…don’t think I’ll make it over there in time to pick up a copy. But, hey, congrats!

Thanks, RS. Nice to see you still snooping around. I’ll probably get your photo on here before too long. You’ve been warned!

Congratulations! What an adventurous tale! :-D But, only available in the Romanian edition…so not easy to get an issue elsewhere :-(

Congrats on the write up! We will be visiting the motherland again in February….you think it will still be burnin up the news stands?
Also if there’s something you might want us to carry either way,to deliver to a certain someone, let me know…

mara - I can still remember, like yesterday, the first time I was up with you past 3am. Wild animal! I was surprised to find out you snagged the magazine before your flight. Glad you liked it!
Ron & Maria - There’s no telling for sure if you’ll be able to land a copy by February. It’ll probably be sold out by the end of the week. I’m hearing of people buying three or four copies each; some well past a dozen! Now, I know you’ve got the inside connections to tap so you can ensure you’re copy is safely waiting for you in Sebes. In the meantime, I’ll ponder the idea of international catering… heh… as the post office is probably sick to death of me.

I just got my copy of Esquire mag. It’s a great article, and very well written.
I had a nice feeling remembering the good old parkour days, hehe.
10x Sean.

Hey there,
I’ve just stumbled on your site in search of some information for a project I am working on. I am terribly intrigued, needless to say.
I moved to the US at the age of nine from Romania, currently I attend Reed College in Portland, Oregon. I’m hoping to return this summer to work on a project I have in mind. Do you think you could help me with some things? You have an interesting perspective.
I would love it if you could email me if you had a free moment.
Once again, great site!:)
Thanks! Enjoy,
Emese

Sorry that my town’s soarma offerings never measured - what’s up with that anyway? Glad to see you are having a good time!

Congratulations once more my friend. Not only are you making issues fly off the newsstands, you’ve pushing the saorma market up by a few points. One man moves a country through some graphic depictions of food. I love that.
Ron & Maria - this is a double issue (Jan/Feb) so you should be able to track down a copy through the end of February. If not, I can probably hook you up.

Mr Romer!can, excuse me. I happen to know you have the text available in English, for your avid readers who are less inclined to understanding Romanian. Is there any copyright issue that prevents you to making it into a post? Furthermore, wouldn’t you be interested to move your story into one of the English written editions? Would that be relevant? Would that be possible? so many questions, so little time…

cool!

Smiles to you.

speaking about Romania in English is like taking Angelina Jolie to the bedroom and find out she is a lesbian…come on guys, i refuse to believe that you forgot limba materna!
