if you realy want these Barkas B1000 have a look on ebay.de/mobile.de – its cheap. But its a unfamous car, the too powerless motor is from wartburg 353, a other eastgerman vehicle. The early models from Wartburg are realy great Wartburg 311/312

Well, interesting question, Alex. There was one guy advertising a sale for only 1 RON, but in reality he wants €1000. Then, there's another person selling for €550. Depending on how much repair work there was to restore it, a buyer could end up with a pretty sweet piece of history. You could trick it out like one would do to a VW Bus. It'd much more cool than buying those soccer-mom Honda boxes. You could even make it ready for quartermile drag racing. Apparently, such projects are highly effective. In fact, it looks like Barkas racing has already begun. Seriously. Anyway, the Barkas would make one helluva surf/beach wagon for cruising anywhere along the Black Sea towns.

How much does a second hand Barkas set you back in Romania then? I definately think there should be some money left in the budget for you to give it some veedub styling
