I clicked the picture after I posted my question. I just wasn’t sure if you’d call it soccer or football.

I still call it soccer most of the time, from habit. But when the entire rest of the world all call it football, then I find myself conforming to global standards more and more.
CO is right. The Romanians say fotbal which sounds like “FOAT-ball” (spoken as float, without the L).

At least they have a spirit to sport, not like any americans. That is the spirit maybe in all europe and because we have more fun than you.
