Fresh Produce

Not only are the tomatoes fresher in Romania, but they are also better looking and far more tasty that what you can find the United States.

    I nabbed these beautiful puppies at the outdoor market near the main “large” (heh) grocery store in this part of town.

    There are a couple local vendors near my place that sell tasty tomatoes, but they aren’t as photogenic as these were.

    we grew tomatoes in the garden when i was a kid and in my experience, the “ugly” ones are the most delicious.

    Yeah, there are some non-model types here, but not too hard to look at… and they taste great. But then I love tasty tomatoes.

    Those are turkish tomatoes, and no, they don’t taste better, but the garden ones (really, the garden ones, not those sold as ‘garden tomatoes’) are the best around ;)
