Newspaper editor imprisoned for swearing
As reported by Charter97, Andrei Dynko, editor for Nasa Niva newspaper in Minsk, Belarus, was arrested and sentenced to prison for supposedly cursing with an obscenity. Two police officers testified against Dynko at the immediate trial, each claiming to have taken him into custody at two different locations. Regardless of the contradiction, the corrupt judge Alena Kraichyk saw fit to throw him in jail.
Obviously, this has nothing to do with the massive city-wide seizure of all copies of the Nasa Niva newspaper which was ordered by Lukashenka just prior to the fradulent election in order to suppress any trace of the only independent news publication in all of Belarus.
