Considering the way things go in the world,it seems like the notion that the term “dystopia” expresses is meant to alter now more than ever.Meaning that some steps to be taken,in order to have a dystopia, are already considered by some…wich will lead to the fact that an unwanted, negative kind of society would be more possible than just imagination. Its almost impossible not to think about “1984″.Now i know that it seems far away and pretty much unrealistic to think that just monitoring all the cars from a country, wiretaping, or the adoption of “data retention” in a continent would lead to something similar to the orwellian dystopia.Well, maybe they don’t know it yet,but once they’ll have the power, they will want to do just more for the sake of not being always at war…with the terrorism. It almost looks like an irony, isn’t it?Even as a theoretical matter,it still makes you think that you can be seen, whatever you do can be known by someone there, that YOU can permanently be watched.Control is power, after all.
